Membership Terms and Conditions

Heide Membership is valid from the date of purchase (or date of voucher activation for gift memberships) until the expiry date printed on your membership card.
Membership benefits and discounts are only available upon the presentation of a valid membership card or another official form of identification.
Membership cards and their benefits are non-transferable. Only the named person or employees of the organisation (Education or Corporate members only) listed on the membership card can use it.
Heide Membership is non-refundable.
The expiry date of a membership subscription cannot be suspended or extended past the expiry date stipulated on the membership card.
Changes to your membership category or names of additional cardholders can only be made at the time of joining or renewing.
Proof of concession status is required on joining or renewing a concession membership. Concession memberships can only be purchased or renewed in person.
A fee of $5.50 (inc GST) per member per card is payable for replacement cards.
It is the responsibility of the member to notify Heide of any change of address or contact information.
All Heide members are required to supply a contact email address. Special offers and events are communicated via email and members are automatically subscribed to Heide’s email newsletter. Members can opt out of email communications at any time.
10% discount in the Heide Store does not apply to sale items
10% discount at Heide Kitchen applies to the card holder only and excludes Heide Kitchen Events.
Discounts to public and learning programs, including school holiday activities, are applicable only to the person listed on the membership card and their children.
Heide Membership benefits do not apply to booked groups or school group visits as these are already priced at a subsidised rate.
Art Date card holders are entitled to admit one guest into the museum per day during normal museum operating hours. Art Date guest admission does not apply to paid public or education programs, Members Only programs or other ticketed events. Art date guests must be accompanied by an Art Date card holder.
Heide reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or membership benefits at any time without prior notice.
Heide reserves the right to modify or cancel Members Only programs or events as required and at its discretion.
Heide reserves the right to terminate your membership if you: fail to comply with these terms and conditions; abuse any privilege afforded to you under the Heide Membership program; or misuse your membership card or breach the conditions of entry to the museum.
Heide holds no responsibility for external partner benefits or special offers.
Heide collects and manages your personal information in a professional and responsible manner and in accordance with the principles of privacy law. The information provided by you will only be used for Heide Membership purposes, such as the administration of your membership, to notify you of upcoming membership programs and events, and in the planning, research and marketing of the membership program. Heide will not disclose, sell, distribute, share or otherwise pass on your personal information to any third party. You may choose not to provide your personal details upon joining, however, if you do not provide your personal details we will not be able to administer your membership or provide you with some or all membership benefits.
