Architecture TourA Gallery to be Lived In
In 1963 Heide founders John and Sunday Reed commissioned David McGlashan of the architectural firm McGlashan Everist to design a home that had a sense of mystery and romance, and would showcase their art collection—a ‘gallery to be lived in’. Join a volunteer guide and learn about the design and construction of Heide Modern, the iconic modernist building that won the Victorian Enduring Architecture Award.
Note this tour may not be available during gallery changeover times, an alternative will be provided.
